I launched the Postcard Exchange in 2015, engaging students in a global connection between Hong Kong and Mae Sot, Thailand. Students illustrated their "dreamland" or favorite place, fostering cultural understanding. The project supported the Harbour School fundraiser, raising over four boxes of art supplies and donations for Kickstart Art. It expanded our classroom beyond borders, helping children appreciate diverse perspectives and global issues. The initiative promoted empathy, global awareness, and community engagement among young learners, enriching their understanding of the world while encouraging artistic expression and intercultural dialogue.
